LifePoint Church exists to love God, love people, and serve the city.
As a church, we're unashamed followers of Jesus. We believe that Jesus is alive today and working for the good of the world and the good of all mankind. Jesus is fully God and fully man, the Son of God, the Redeemer who reconciled us to the Father through His obedience, even to death. It's through Jesus that our sins are forgiven and our relationship with God is restored. And it's by the power of His Spirit, enabling us to follow His example, that we become part of His plan to redeem the whole world.
Biblical community is more than just attending a Sunday gathering or getting together for coffee occasionally. How we love one another is part of what marks us as Christians. It's about living authentically as a family before others. Biblical community is about putting others ahead of ourselves every day. It's about helping someone move, making dinner if someone's sick, watching a couple's kids so they can go on a date, and being a shoulder to cry on. It's all of those things and more. Biblical community is always about Jesus living Himself out through our lives in the way that we love and serve one another.
Serve the City
We love our city. Just as God sent His son Jesus on a mission to redeem the world, He also sends us out into the world to live within our culture as missionaries who are faithful to the Gospel. We believe that the life of every Christian should exemplify the character of Jesus, who gave of Himself to the point of death. As such, we give of our time, talents, and resources for the good of others and our city.
